About the event

We will begin with a meet and greet ice-breaker to fill out name tags and pass out snacks and bottled water. Then we will begin our walking experience of one of Washington, D.C.'s best-kept secrets on an unforgettable 4-mile adventure through the U.S. National Arboretum - with one of almost every one of the nation's trees and shrubs - beautifully landscaped into themes! Wander through breathtaking gardens, explore one of the world's largest collections of Japanese and Chinese bonsai outside Asia, admire the elegant Chinese Pagoda, and stand beneath the awe-inspiring 1828 U.S. Capitol Columns—with a water fall and lake - one of the capital's most iconic hidden landmarks. From peaceful Anacostia river trails to stunning landscapes and unforgettable photo opportunities, every step reveals something extraordinary.
