Join our fun and friendly group for a mid morning hike as we step into another era on mysterious ancient Wye Island, where the Ferry Point Trail follows the historic route to an old ferry landing through towering forests, peaceful marshes, and breathtaking views of the Wye River. With bald eagles overhead, deer in the woods, and almost no signs of modern life, it's one of Maryland's most serene and timeless hikes where tribes flourished going back tens of thousands of years and we might find prehistoric tools.
Then enter the Osage Trail, where a massive living tunnel of Osage orange trees forms one of the Eastern Shore's most enchanting natural corridors - like something out of the Lord of the Rings movie - except in real life.
